- Creating an entity relationship diagram (ERD).
- Discussing the Relationships graph.

User interface and user experience:
- Asking the right questions.
- Thinking user-first.
- Using Layout mode.

Calculations:
- Using summary fields.
- Conditional formatting on layout objects.

Scripting:
- Passing parameters.
- Using JSON for script parameters.
- Creating a picker window with search capability.
- Error trapping.

Training Day classes are offered a la carte. They may be purchased in addition to the Claris Engage 2025 registration or as a standalone option. Classes will not be recorded.

Prerequisites:
- Claris FileMaker Pro Specialist certification or higher.
- Preferably 3+ years working with FileMaker and strong scripting, layout, and calculation experience.

Requirements:
Bring your laptop with the current version of FileMaker Pro installed, and Advanced Tools enabled. You will be using your own laptop for this workshop.
